During Kentico Connection 2019 in Brno, Petr Palas, CEO at Kentico software and his colleagues presented us the latest updates on Kentico. They also announced that Kentico is now ISO certified in multiple fields (ISO 9001 / 20000-1 / 27001 ) proving Kentico offers solutions to manage your content that are not only practical but also secure and reliable.
Kentico CMS – What can we expect in 2020?
The 2020 version of Kentico CMS/EMS will be focused on making it fully compatible with the .NET standard and features that should “let the system do the heavy lifting”. These features will simplify the life of the users:
Link existing pages on various places within an MVC website
Marketing automation through a.o. ready-to-use templates
Enhanced AI recommendations
Automated dynamic routing in MVC
Kentico Kontent – What’s coming?
Kentico Cloud has undergone quite a few changes in the last 12 months to better fit the Content as a Service mindset. To underline this renewed focus, the headless CMS has been renamed to Kentico Kontent.
Today, Kentico Kontent offers features to plan, create, publish, personalize, optimize and assess content. New and announced features are:
Possibility to create/update/delete content models through API
Advanced role management and permissions engine
More integrations through custom elements
During the convention, there was a lot of attention on headless commerce and several integrations with solutions such as Shopify, Magento, Snipcart, Foxy, Ecwid are already available. We look forward to start using these integrations and build headless ecommerce solutions.
We really enjoyed Kentico Connection 2019 in Brno and the interesting discussions with Kentico colleagues and partners. See you in 2020 !
